Pricing
Current prices and any free trial are shown on the subscription screen in the app and on the App Store listing, in your own currency. They are not repeated here: a price published in two places is a price that can disagree with itself, and the store is the one that charges you.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions — cancelling at least 24 hours before the period ends stops the next charge.
About your photos
Free accounts keep a saved plant for 3 days, then the record and the photograph are both deleted. That is enforced by the server, not a suggestion — a sweep removes the image and the record together, and a database expiry removes anything the sweep misses.
Subscribing lifts the deadline off everything already saved, immediately.
